ECO HOME Demonstration Project
Bournville Village Trust and Bournville Architects worked together to bring this project to fruition.
As part of Bournville Village Trust’s "Green Team" initiative a sub-group of three volunteers was set up to explore and develop an Eco-friendly demonstration project.
264 Selly Oak Road, a purchase from Cadbury Schweppes, was selected as an ideal property as it required substantial improvement and upgrading work before it could be re-let. The property is a two storey, mid-terrace house of traditional construction.
Existing sub-standard single storey extensions (kitchen and bathroom) to the rear of the property were replaced.
