Low Energy Fittings.

  • Compact fluorescent (CFL).
    A 15w, CFL is equivalent to a standard 60w bulb.
  • Light emitting diodes (LED), feature lighting provided to the ceilings in the dining area and bathroom.

Timber Windows

  • New softwood frames were sourced from sustainably managed European forests via the Forest Stewardship Scheme (FSC).
  • The double glazing comprises of a 4mm outer pane and 6mm inner pane with 16mm air gap increasing the performance of the glazing.
  • The double glazed units have improved the U-value of the windows in comparison with the original single glazed windows.
  • Water based preservatives, paints and stains - have been used as they are more environmentally friendly in manufacture and maintenance.
