Shenley wins Geen Apple Award

Residents of Shenley will be celebrating with landlords, Bournville Village Trust when they tot up their fuel bills at the end of the winter months. The developer of the £4 million Phase 1 development in South Birmingham has won a national environmental award for energy saving achievements in the building and construction of new homes at Shenley Green. click here

94 year old Elsie Browning took great delight in being entertained by 17 year old Rebecca Tucker from Shenley Court Secondary school as celebrations got underway for the twenty fifth anniversary of Rosefields, a sheltered housing scheme in Northfield. Groups from all years spent an afternoon performing music, dancing and reciting Shakespeare for the two hours of festive fun in Marylands Drive, Northfield. click here

A fun day for tenants and local residents at Doseley in Telford was organised jointly by staff of Bournville Village Trust and Beth Johnson Housing Association. Despite some mixed weather, a good turnout of parents and children enjoyed attractions which included a bouncy castle, on site DJ, children's entertainer 'Tombo' and bouncy football. click here
