BOURNVILLE VILLAGE TRUST STRENGTHENS SUPPORTED HOUSING TEAM

One of the oldest housing associations in Birmingham has strengthened its Supported Housing Department with a new appointment and a promotion.

John McHugh aged 39, joins Bournville Village Trust as a Senior Manager for Support Services. Previously working for the YMCA managing a support project in Redditch, John brings fifteen years experience of working in the care sector to his new post. John is married with two boys and is actively involved with the Roman Catholic Church.

Elaine Luck has worked for Bournville Village Trust for 25 years in a wide range of departments. The majority of her time has been spent in Support Services where she has recently been promoted to Senior Manager for Care Services. 45 years old Elaine is now in her third year of a four year diploma course in social work. She is married and lives on the Bournville estate. Elaine is a keen motorcyclist and owns a Triumph and a 650CC BMW, which she rides all over the world.

Barbara Edgehill, Director of Supported Housing said: "We now have a very strong team to drive our plans for the future forward. Both John and Elaine have the qualities, commitment and depth of professional experience that Supported Housing will benefit from."
