The children from Woodlands Youth Club took part in a day of litter picking, organised by their landlord, Bournville Village Trust. They tidied areas of open space and roads in and around the Woodlands Park area.

Rebecca Debenham of Bournville Village Trust said: "We organised the event to keep children on our estate busy and to encourage them to take pride in the areas where they live. We are delighted with the interest they have shown in the initiative. They will now enjoy a trip to the Ackers Trust in return for their hard work"
