KIDS CLUB - Benefits working parents

Working parents in Bordesley are delighted with a new before-and-after-school club which has opened at Phoenix Hall. The school involved is St Andrews Junior and Infant School in Towpath Close.

Karen Turvey, from Bournville Village Trust’s Community Team, has succeeded in obtaining funding through the New Opportunities Fund, a government initiative. The club has 40 places, opened in June 2002.

The club is open from 7.30am - 9.00am before school and from 3.00pm - 6.15pm in the evening.
