Salary: £9.44 per hour plus productive bonus
39 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint two experienced painter / decorators / wall finishers, (plaster / tilers) to join our existing team for external and internal decorations.
Brief Job Profile:
- To wallpaper and paint to a high standard
- To floor and wall tile to a high standard
- Plaster patch and make good
- Carry out work in accordance with works tickets
- Comply with Health & Safety at Work requirements
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- City & Guilds or NVQ 2
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Full clean driving licence
- Daily use of a car
Applicants will have a working knowledge of Health and Safety, good customer service skills and be customer focused.

ASSISTANT HOUSING OFFICER
Full Time - Grade 4
CLOSING DATE: 19 March 2010
A job vacancy has arisen for an Assistant Housing Officer who will work within the Housing Management team based at our Bournville Area Office, providing general support to the Housing Officer and Housing Management Team and to assist in all aspects of Housing Management.
Key Tasks:
- Assist the Housing Officer to deliver Housing Management services to tenants and managed societies.
- To deal with office, telephone and personal enquiries and written correspondence regarding Housing Management issues.
- To ensure that new tenants take up occupation and assist them in this process.
- To process Housing Benefit notification letters and overpayments.
- To carry out estate inspections and visits on a regular basis.
- To liaise and work in partnership with other departments within the Trust and external organisations.
- To process community fund applications.
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- Good Numeracy and Literacy skills.
- Experience of dealing with the public.
- Computer literate.
- Able to work unsupervised and use own initiative.
- Good communication skills both written and oral.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Full driving licence and daily use of a car.
Desirable:
- Experience of working within a Housing environment

Bank Staff

Selly Wood House is seeking to appoint bank staff to cover sickness and holiday periods, in the following areas:-
- Nurses
- Catering assistants
- Housekeeping
- Laundry
- Care staff
Whilst every effort is made to provide advance notice of available shifts, this is not possible in the event of staff sickness.
There is no expectation placed upon bank staff to accept preferred shifts.
Bank staff will accrue holiday entitlement for which they are paid.
