The Trust is heavily dependent on the commitment, loyalty and hard work from all its staff in meeting its objectives.
The Trustees recognise and appreciate this commitment by ensuring all staff are offered opportunities to develop their skills to ensure job satisfaction, career and personal development.
Appropriate training and development programmes for all staff are designed to ensure that all departments have the resources they need to meet the Trust’s objectives.
The Trust is committed to:
- The development of a high performance culture throughout the organisation.
- Making all its training relevant to the business plan objectives and personal career plans of its staff where these overlap.
- Training all its managers to maximise the potential of the staff in their teams.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of any training in meeting its previously agreed objectives.
- Keeping its management systems updated in line with best practice.
- Holding regular team briefings with all the staff in the organisation to communicate management information on policies, procedures, people and progress.
- Ensuring that business plan and personal career objectives are met by means of regular recorded performance reviews.
