The Trust has 100 years' experience of managing mixed tenure estates together with landscaping, roads and lighting. In Bournville we look after almost 8000 freehold and leasehold properties together with a portfolio of commercial properties such as neighbourhood shops.
To preserve the appearance and amenity of Bournville, we scrutinise applications from residents for external alterations to properties and are able to give advice on any related matters.
The Design Guide describes how all development, no matter how small, is worthy of careful consideration if the Estate is to retain its unique quality. As a result, before any work commences on site residents are required to submit for the Trust’s approval, any proposals affecting the external appearance of their property or garden.
