Selly Manor

SELLY MANOR ORGINALLY DATING FROM THE 14TH CENTURY

Visit and truly experience life as it was during Tudor times at Selly Manor in the heart of the Garden Village of Bournville.

These are two carefully restored and maintained timber framed houses, furnished in the period and surrounded with gardens containing an abundance of plants and shrubs.

George Cadbury (the chocolate manufacturer) saved Selly Manor from demolition almost 100 years ago and in turn his son Laurence travelled throughout Europe in search of furnishings, some of which date back to 1500.

Just a short walk from the famous Cadbury World, and a wonderful testament to the Cadbury family, a visit will complete your day in the Bournville Village. Selly Manor is open from 10am to 5pm every day except Monday. For more information, telephone 0121 472 0199 or e–mail sellymanor@bvt.org.uk or visit the website at www.bvt.org.uk/sellymanor.
