Volunteering Opportunities

YOUR COMMUNITY NEEDS YOU!

Shenley Court Residents Association currently undertakes a range of local voluntary work within the Shenley area to ensure that residents’ views are represented and services provided locally meet local needs. This work ranges from regular liaison with Bournville Village Trust regarding developments on the estate, the police regarding community safety issues and local community centres, churches, voluntary sector agencies and the city council regarding services provided. We currently have vacancies on our Committee who oversee this work and are looking for new members.

If you would like to get more involved in community activities and help shape future developments within the Shenley Area then we would love to hear from you. Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds and we are not looking for any particular skills or knowledge just enthusiasm and an interest in local affairs. If you can spare a few hours a month to attend the odd meeting, help with publishing our newsletter or even with the delivery of this within the Shenley area then please get in touch. We are a friendly lot and getting involved is a great way to make new friends locally and to be involved in your local community.

If you would like more information on what we do and how you could get involved please give Derek Hammond, Chairman of Shenley Court Residents Association a ring on (0121) 475 6215.
