Bournville Village Trust

Lion rampant emblem.Teacher InformationLion rampant emblem.

We have about 7000 school children each year at Selly Manor, most of them study the Tudors, but some look at old houses and furniture, and medieval life. For those studying local history we can focus on the interesting village of Bournville.

We welcome teachers phoning or visiting to find out about our education service. We charge £3 per child for a visit, teachers and helpers are free as long as you have at least 1 adult for every 10 children. This will provide you with a member of our education team or if you would like to lead the day yourselves the charge will be £2 per child. There is a maximum of two classes per day {more can be accommodated with prior arrangement and extra teacher assistance}.
