The Outside of Selly Manor

The part of the house on the right is the oldest and dates to 1327, and has been built with a timber framework of oak, filled in with wattle and daub made from mud and cow dung (sticks and plaster). The middle section dates to the reign of Henry VIII and has three storeys with very expensive bricks between the wood. The final room on the left is again timber and wattle and daub and was added when Elizabeth I was queen.
