Lightmoor Wildlife Group

The Lightmoor Wildlife Group has now had its first meeting in the village. They intend to produce their first newsletter or flyer shortly in order to keep all residents fully informed of progress.

Plans for 2008 include guided walks, children's activities, noting and recording wildlife, encouraging wildlife habitats. The group would like to stress that they are very much about "activity" and not meetings. They will shortly be advising of the start location for their first guided nature walk. Unfortunately on this occasion dogs are not welcome as they tend to disturb habitats.
