The Bournville Village Trust is creating its new community in the heart of the glorious Shropshire countryside.
The original Bournville in South Birmingham is world famous due to the genius of its founder George Cadbury who built a community that has prospered for over 100 years.
Its core values and principles are being replicated in Shropshire with the addition of 21st century housing and environmental standards.

Long Term Stewardship
We offer to our residents a permanent, on site, and accessible management team including Estate Management, Environmental Stewardship, and a Resident Involvement Officer who will assist the community in making their voice heard and influencing our future plans. The team will also assist and encourage regular community events with a village flavour.

Community safety
Shropshire overall has a low crime rate in comparison to an urban environment. We provide a visible and pro active village presence through our estate warden or "man with a van" who will attend to all the green areas, assist residents and remove any hazards. We have also established a Neighbourhood Watch scheme in the first completed phase of the village at Round House Park.
Education
A new Village primary school of 210 places is to be built in the village centre with attached sports and recreational facilities.
Our Carbon footprint
Our homes are built to eco standards and we have a commitment to protecting and preserving the green environment which you see all around the village.
Community cohesion
We have a program of community inclusion so that no one resident feels isolated. We will work with you to put on events that you would like to see. We will allow residents to shape the future with us through their own association and representation on the estate management board.
