Lightmoor Wildlife Group was held
On Friday 25th April at The Bournville Village Office

- Organising walks on the historic lanes around the area with the South Telford Rights of Way Officer
- Finding out more about local plants
- Learning how to spot local birds
- Looking for ancient hedgerows and old trees, some indicators of the medieval landscape, with the Shropshire Wildlife Trust
- Finding out what plans are in place to enhance the wildlife of the village, and getting involved
- Learning about Lightmoor Nature Reserve, and finding out how we can be partners in the conservation of this fascinating area
Look out for the beautiful Barn Owl hunting at dusk
Cornflower: a traditional field plant which is reappearing as the ground is disturbed
