To help protect the most vulnerable and support those in need in the communities we work, we are providing some services in direct response to coronavirus.
We are also working with a number of community partners to support the great work they are doing in your area. You can read more about these specific services on our Community Services and Coronavirus page.
BVT services include:
- An advice service offering impartial welfare, benefit and income information and signposting to anyone worried about money in the communities we work in. You don’t have to be a BVT tenant to use this unaccredited service. To access the service, you can call us on 0300 333 6540 and ask to speak to a member of our Income team. You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org
- A general advice service for queries you may have about your community. It offers signposting and guidance about community partners that provide access to foodbanks, mental health services, bereavement support, money advice and much more. The service can also tell you about opportunities for volunteers. To use the service, you can call us on 0300 333 6540 or email email@example.com
- A befriending service, run by BVT staff, that ‘checks in’ over the phone or via email on the most vulnerable and those most in need. You don’t have to be a BVT tenant to use this service. If you know a person in the communities we work who could benefit from a phone call from us, please get in touch. You can call us on 0300 333 6540 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
