We work with you to see how we can best support you and resolve anti-social behaviour (ASB) issues.

What is ASB?

In short, ASB is a way of acting that’s likely to cause a nuisance, annoyance, harassment, alarm or distress to someone else.

Examples of ASB are:

Verbally abusing, threatening or intimidating someone.
Using drugs or dealing them.
Constant loud shouting and arguing.
Persistently playing music or the TV so loud it can be heard by others.
Constant dog barking or pets causing damage.

How we can help

ASB can rob you of your right to enjoy your home and community which is why we work with you to see how we can best support you and resolve issues.

We will:

Contact you to get further details about your ASB complaint.
Explain if the behaviour is or isn’t ASB and agree a joint plan of action.
Keep you informed about your ASB complaint.
Take the most appropriate action against those committing ASB; this could be legal or non-legal.
Work with agencies like the police and local authority to resolve ASB.
Provide you with details of organisations that can assist you if we’re not able to act.
Where appropriate, refer you to a mediation service. We’ll always discuss this with you first.
