At Bournville Village Trust (BVT), our mission is to create and sustain communities where people can thrive, which makes being part of a BVT-managed community a little different.
The work that we do and the services we provide are focused on four areas:
- Place-shaping – creating and maintaining distinctive, environmentally sustainable places.
- Community building – building strong and inclusive communities.
- Championing people – removing barriers and helping people achieve their full potential.
- Providing great homes – providing homes and delivering great services.
You can read more about all of the work that we do in the About Us section.
When you moved into your home, you should have received details about us, the services that we provide and our responsibilities to you as a resident.
You should have also been made aware of the annual charge that you pay for these services and your responsibilities as a member of a BVT-managed community, which includes understanding which covenants are in place for your property.
Covenants are legally binding promises and are found in the transfer deed (called a TP1) that you sign/ed when buying your home.
Further details about covenants are available in our Design Guides, and there are Design Guides for the Bournville Estate and Lawley and Lightmoor villages.
There is lots of information here our website about living in a BVT-managed community, but if you need further advice or support, please email our customer services team at enquiries@bvt.org.uk or call 0300 333 6540.
