Bournville Works Housing Society (BWHS) was founded in 1919 to provide housing specifically for employees of Cadbury Brothers Limited.
Today it continues to provide 313 high-quality rented homes to people, where a need for social housing can be demonstrated.
To qualify for a BWHS home you must:
- Be in receipt of a Cadbury or Mondelez pension
- Currently employed by Mondelez and have been in continuous employment with them for three years or
- An existing tenant’s son or daughter whose parent has been a named tenant and member for no less than three years.
BWHS properties are often in high demand and there is a waiting list.
