Parking in a considerate way is an important part of being a good neighbour.
It is your responsibility to make sure your car is parked in an appropriate place.
However, we do ask that you don’t park in the following ways:
- On a grass verge or footpath
- Obstructing an emergency access route or right of way
- In a garden – except on approved hard-standings or driveways
- On BVT land without permission.
You are not to keep large vehicles, trailers, caravans, motor homes or boats at your home on driveways.
If you live in Birmingham and have a caravan, motor home, commercial vehicle, trailer or boat, these should be kept on one of our storage sites.
We currently have a waiting list for our sites. To apply to join the list, please contact our Customer Services team by emailing enquiries@bvt.org.uk
If you live in Telford, you will need to make arrangements to find your own storage site.
We have no jurisdiction on parking or the blocking of roads and footpaths.
Obstructions caused by inconsiderate or illegal parking should be reported to the Police on the 101 non-emergency number.
Other obstructions can be reported to Birmingham City Council or Telford and Wrekin Council.
