UPDATE – THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO BAD WEATHER

BVT residents who are worried about safety in their community or anti-social behaviour (ASB) are being urged to drop-into an event in Selly Oak this November.

Michelle Lewis, Stacey Kettner (both Tenancy Enforcement Co-ordinators) and Matt Loines (Neighbourhood Co-ordinator) from our Housing and Neighbourhood Services team will be at the Selly Oak Shopping Centre on Tuesday 19th November for the ‘Making Communities Safer’ event.

The event is open to everyone and you can drop in from 10am-2pm to meet a range of partners and hear about services that can support you to feel safer in your community.

Partners who will be attending the event, organised by Birmingham City Council, include:

  • Birmingham City Council Community Safety Team and Housing.
  • West Midlands Police.
  • Birmingham Children’s Trust Youth Justice Service.
  • Change Grow Live.
  • Longhurst Group.
  • Green Square Accord.
  • Bournville Village Trust.
  • And other agencies.

For more information, go to www.birmingham-community-safety-partnership.co.uk or email CSP.enquiries@birmingham.gov.uk

The event is part of Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Awareness Week (18th-24th November), an annual event to raise awareness of ASB and how to make communities safer.

For information about ASB and the service we provide (including our online reporting form), please go to our anti-social behaviour page.

During ASB Awareness Week, we’ll also be holding a drop-in session in Lightmoor Village, Telford, that is open to all BVT residents. Find out more at news-and-events/bvt-residents-invited-to-anti-social-behaviour-drop-in/
