Environmentally conscious community members in Shenley can now organise their own litter picks with help from a local community centre.

Bournville Village Trust-managed community centre Shenley Court Hall, on Green Meadow Road, is now an official Community Clean-up Hub.

It means if you want to organise a litter pick in your community or with your neighbours, or set up your own community clean-up committee, the Hall can provide you with all the equipment you need.

Community Clean-up Hubs are spearheaded by Cleanup UK, a small charity with a mission to create a world where everyone has access to litter free public spaces.

For more details, including how you borrow equipment from the Hall, please email sch@bvt.org.uk or call 0121 475 7521.
