If you’ve been putting off writing a Will or aren’t sure where to start, you’re not alone.

According to the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) 53% of adults aged 50-64 do not have a will.

But there’s good news! Free Wills Month begins on 2nd March 2026, offering a good opportunity to write a simple will for free.

If you’re aged 55 and over, you can contact one of the firms of solicitors taking part in a Free Wills Month during the designated month to request an appointment.

The solicitor will help to draw up a Will that accurately reflects your wishes.

Appointments are limited and are allocated on a first come first served basis. Once all available appointments are booked the campaign will close, this may be before the end of the campaigning month.
