We are accepting second-hand bikes at our 350 Bournville Lane office to donate to charity The Bike Project.
The Bike Project give bikes to refugees and asylum seekers who struggle to afford other forms of transport.
You can drop off bikes between 1pm and 2pm on Wednesdays or Fridays.
You don’t need to make an appointment BUT you must register the bike on The Bike Project website https://thebikeproject.co.uk/pages/donate-bike to get your unique number tag to fix to your handlebars.
If you need to arrange a drop off outside of the hours above, please contact us in advance to arrange this by emailing communityadmin@bvt.org.uk
Please note that on occasion, the Bike Project may pause donations of bikes at our office if the collection point is full. In this event, you will not find our details on the Bike Project website and will be asked to search for alternative drop-off points in the area.
