Residents in south Birmingham who are looking to start their career, upskill or explore new opportunities in construction are being invited to a construction community job fair.

The event will take place at Shenley Court Hall, 200 Green Meadow Road, Selly Oak, B29 4ED, on Wednesday 9th July 2025, from 10am-1pm and you can drop-in any time during that period.

At the job fair you’ll be able to:

• Get CV and career advice from the National Careers Service.
• Find out about free training opportunities to boost your skills.
• Network with employers and providers offering jobs, training courses and support.

This event is organised by Bournville Village Trust in partnership with Job Centre Plus and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).

By bus: 20a/20 63/61, X21 Platinum from City Centre.
By train: Northfield Train Station (22min walk).
By car: Onsite car park and some street parking available.
