A planning application to create a new green performance space on Bournville Green has been accepted by Birmingham City Council and is now open for consultation.
The application has been submitted by partners from the Bournville Live partnership which includes The Hub on the Green, Bournville Parish Church, Selly Manor Museum and Bournville Village Trust.
The new performance space will provide further opportunity for people to enjoy the diverse range of free cultural, arts and heritage that already take place on the Green and will improve accessibility and opportunity for future activities.
You can see and comment on the planning application here: https://eplanning.birmingham.gov.uk/Northgate/PlanningExplorer/ Reference 2025/04195/PA
All residents are invited to take part in the consultation and share their views.
Bournville Live partners will also soon be inviting local residents to join a Friends of Bournville Live group, which will be an opportunity to work together to develop the cultural, arts and heritage offer across Bournville.
