A red warning for extreme heat has been issued for the West Midlands, from 9am on Wednesday 24th June 2026 until 9pm on Thursday 25th June 2026, with temperatures expected to reach 39 degrees in some areas.

We’ll be continuing to deliver services but, as a result of this extreme heat, there may be changes to the way we do this. Some repair tasks will also be rescheduled to cooler periods of the day.

If this impacts you, we’ll contact you to let you know. Thank you for your understanding.

For advice on staying cool go to www.gov.uk and for information on looking out for vulnerable neighbours, friends and family go to www.redcross.org.uk.
