Residents in south Birmingham can get advice on everything from energy bills to health and wellbeing at community advice fairs this November.
The community fairs will take place on Tuesday 18th November 2025 at Shenley Court Hall (200 Green Meadow Road, B29 4ED) and Tuesday 25th November 2025 at Bournville Parish Church (Sycamore Rd, Birmingham B30 2AA).
Residents looking for help and advice will be able to drop in any time between 11am and 2pm and meet organisations including:
- Age UK dementia carer group
- Selly Oak Neighbourhood Network Scheme
- South and City College Birmingham
- Fircroft College
- Energy Angels (18th only)
- Act on Energy (25th only)
- The Project
- DAWS – Birmingham
- Bournville Village Trust
The event has been organised by charity Bournville Village Trust to support and empower residents in south Birmingham to get a range of help and advice all under one roof.
Elaine Li, Community Development and Involvement Manager at Bournville Village Trust, said: “If you live in south Birmingham and need advice or help with your energy bills, jobs and employment, or health and wellbeing then please drop-in to one of our community fairs.
“There will be lots of friendly faces all ready to listen to you and give you great advice and support. If you’re a Bournville Village Trust customer, our staff will also be available to help with any issues or concerns.”
