Do you use Hawkestone Road Park in Shenley or wish you could visit it more? We want to hear from you!
As part of our plans to replace the worn-out playground and multi-use games area (MUGA), we want to work with local residents to help shape the park’s future.
Whether you visit every day, every now and then, or you’re thinking about using the park more in the future, your views matter.
You can share your thoughts and help us understand what is valued most about the park, what could be improved, and how it can better serve the whole community, by filling in this survey here (it takes around five minutes).
We’re also looking for local people who would like to get more involved in the project.
Whether you have lots of time or just want to share ideas occasionally, there are plenty of ways to take part. Please email enquiries@bvt.org.uk and mark for the attention of Birmingham Estates team or call us on 0300 333 6540.
Dawn Drew, Estates and Stewardship Manager at Bournville Village Trust, said: “We know the people who use the park are the ones who understand it best, so we’d love to hear your ideas, but we would also like to hear from people who don’t currently use the park but have ideas on how we can make it a more welcoming space.
“Hawkestone Road Park is an important part of the Shenley neighbourhood, and we want to make sure it continues to be a welcoming, enjoyable space for everyone.”
