This week (10th-14th November 2025) is TPAS National Involvement Week, and to mark it our Community Development and Involvement Officer, Jack Davies, explains more about why we launched BVT Voices.
Did you know that Village Voices has a new name and a new look? It’s now called BVT Voices.
This change reflects how we’ve grown and evolved, and how we continue to listen to and involve residents across all neighbourhoods we work.
BVT Voices allows you to choose the areas that matter most to you, so we can best understand how and when you would like to be involved in helping us create positive change to our services.
Here are the top three reasons for the change:
- A name that represents everyone
We wanted a name that reflects all the communities we serve, not just Bournville Village. BVT Voices better represents the diverse communities that make up all our neighbourhoods.
- More relevant involvement opportunities
The updated system now includes the most up-to-date ways you can get involved — whether it’s surveys, local meetings, or community projects or panels.
- More choice in how often you get involved
You can now tell us how often you’d like to take part. Whether you want to be involved regularly or just occasionally, you’re in control.
All of these changes help us get a better understanding of how you want to be involved; making sure your voice is heard in a way that works best for you.
And there’s more…everyone who signs up to BVT Voices will get our monthly BVT Voices newsletter, packed with local activities, involvement opportunities and events happening across your community.
