Using BVT parks and open spaces during lockdown

Our parks, open spaces and play-areas in Birmingham and Telford remain open during lockdown as we know how important they are for health and wellbeing.

If you plan on visiting or using them please:

  • Observe social distancing when out for exercise and follow government guidance. If you’re queueing for take-away drinks, please keep your distance and follow instructions from business owners / be supportive of the measures they’re taking.
  • If facilities are particularly busy, consider coming back and using them at a quieter time.
  • Consider what you need to protect you and your family, for example hand-sanitiser and wipes, and if you find that equipment is damaged or broken, you can report it to us by emailing enquiries@bvt.org.uk

Bournville Police are also patrolling areas, dispersing crowds and issuing tickets where appropriate. For guidance on what you can and can’t do during lockdown please go to https://www.gov.uk/guid…/national-lockdown-stay-at-home…
