Are you looking for an opportunity to learn, develop and give back to your community? We are recruiting to our long-standing customer-led Scrutiny Panel.
The Panel have successfully led on several reviews over the last 12 years that have delivered positive outcomes for the wider community, including:
- Reviewing BVT’s response to COVID and our Well Winter campaign.
- Improvements to how we manage empty homes and in particular, the standard of these properties.
- Improvements to how we manage anti-social behaviour.
As BVT continues to focus on delivering good, quality services, the time has come to refresh and re-focus the Panel to ensure customers’ voices are heard and are central to everything we do when it comes to delivering services.
If you’re interested in helping to shape the responsive repairs service, or help make improvements to how BVT supports customers, you have a particular interest in how anti-social behaviour is managed by BVT or you are interested in the BVT customer experience generally, then the Scrutiny Panel could be for you.

We’re looking for between four and five people to join the Panel and you will need to be a BVT customer i.e. tenant or charge payer. To join the Panel, you cannot be a member of an existing BVT committee.
