Governance
Our Board of Trustees has responsibility for the governance of Bournville Village Trust, setting our overall strategic direction as detailed within our corporate plan, monitoring our strategic performance and our financial viability.
They delegate detailed oversight of some of our activities to a number of committees. Each committee has different members and some key committees include residents.

Structure
There are other organisations which are part of the wider Bournville Village Trust group including;
- Bournville Works Housing Association (BWHS). BWHS is a registered provider and its board is coterminous with BVT’s Board of Trustees. In addition to its Board, BWHS also has shareholders. You can see the BWHS Shareholding Membership Policy below.
- Bournville Almshouse Trust (BAT). Bournville Almshouse Trust is a linked charity with the BVT Board of Trustees as its trustees.
- Bournville Village Developments (BVD). Bournville Village Developments is a company with a number of BVT Trustees as its directors.
- Bournville Village Enterprises (BVE). Bournville Village Enterprises is a company with a number of BVT Trustees as its directors.
