Our Websites

Our Vision is ‘to create and sustain flourishing communities where people choose to live’ and our over-arching strategy supports this.

We are committed to being a housing provider – delivering homes within mixed tenure communities whilst balancing this growth with building financial strength in an uncertain economic climate.

This will ensure that we remain faithful to our founder George Cadbury’s aims of developing healthy and sustainable communities both today, and in the future.

We recognise that we’re more diverse than the traditional ‘housing association’, with our agricultural estates, green open spaces, shops and a Museum.

Our valued community services promote and deliver initiatives that bring residents together and build key strengths in the neighbourhoods we serve. Examples include our work with schools, inter-generational activities and promoting digital inclusion.

As a registered charity, these invaluable additional services, support our special legacy and build upon George Cadbury’s vision, which is as respected and as important today as it was when his model village was created over 120 years ago.

We recognise that we cannot operate in isolation and therefore we build strong relationships with a range of key partners to ensure our communities continue to thrive.

Our supported housing services are important to us, they enable us to support our more vulnerable residents to lead an independent and full life whilst continuing to be part of their community.

Our master planning and partnership working to create College Green, Bournville’s flagship Care Village, is a prime example of recognising the needs of our older resident profile in Bournville.

In contrast our development of Lightmoor Village in Telford, heavily influenced by the ethos of Bournville, caters for all family types – with shops, an extra care housing scheme, school and community centre all at its heart.
