Bournville Village Council

Bournville Village Council is a residents’ association which is elected to represent the interests of people in Bournville.

It covers all BVT-managed homes on the Bristol Road side of the Bournville estate.

The Council serves as an important link between residents and public bodies like BVT, the City Council and the Police.

It deals with matters of local concern that impact on the general well-being and community life of the area.

The Council organise some of the village’s popular events, including the annual Bournville Village Festival in June. They also take part in the Christmas Lights Switch On and the Christmas Eve carol service on the Village Green.

Council meetings are held once a month on Tuesday evenings at 7.30pm at Dame Elizabeth Hall. There is a break in August and December.

If you would like to join or support the work of the Council, please contact them direct by calling 0121 608 8365 (please leave a message if it goes to answerphone), emailing info@bournvillevillagecouncil.org.uk or visit their website www.bournvillevillagecouncil.org.uk
