“I’m a proud Bournville Village Trust (BVT) tenant living in Lightmoor Village in Telford.
I first became aware of BVT when I became the estate warden for the Village almost 10 years ago. I liked the ethos of what BVT were establishing in Lightmoor and decided to apply for a home with my wife and son, we have now lived here for eight years.
Previously we lived in a privately rented house. Being a BVT tenant means we feel that our home has much more security than privately renting. We have pride in our home and it is well taken care of with BVT, I know that it is safe and that if I have any repair issues they are quickly sorted out.
Living in Lightmoor Village has been great for me and my family.
I became a manager for the Lawley and Lightmoor Galaxy under 7’s football team and my wife started work at the primary school. I am now the Landscape Supervisor in Telford for BVT and am very proud to take care of the estate I live in. I was even presented with a BVT Garden Award last year.”
