Management Charge

BVT has a long-term stewardship commitment covering all houses at Lightmoor Village in Shropshire.  A management charge is paid by all residents living in the Village to cover the cost of maintaining and repairing the estate and providing extensive community development work.

Other items included in the Management Charge are:

  • Communal landscaping, communal areas, open spaces and footpaths
  • Communal lighting for open space and footpaths
  • IRS (Integrated Reception System)
  • SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage)
  • Insurance
  • Annual sinking fund
  • Legal fees
  • Consultancy fees
  • Estate warden
  • Service charge.

In some cases, in addition to the Management Charge, there will be a Service Charge. Residents that benefit from shared facilities or services (non-communal areas) are required to pay a contribution to the provision and maintenance of these shared services.
