Environmental Commitment

Protecting wildlife and conservation is an important part of the work that we do to maintain and look after the estates and villages that we manage.

Our environmental commitment includes:

  • Managing the trees within our parks and open spaces, including annual inspections to check their health. Where trees need to be felled, native species are used to replace them.
  • Managing tree spinneys
  • Introducing wild flower areas to encourage butterflies, bees and other insects
  • Installing bird, owl and bat boxes
  • Developing and maintaining bee apiaries on the estate.

You can find information on helping us to maintain the parks and open spaces that we manage by visiting the Resident Responsibilities page.
