VACANCY: Tenancy Enforcement Coordinator

Salary: £38,029.31

Location: Telford and Birmingham, West Midlands (Hybrid Working)

This exciting role as a Tenancy Enforcement Coordinator will mean you will be responsible for managing high level complex cases and building relationships with our various partners, including the Police and the local authority.  You will be expected to prepare documents for court and attend as a witness where necessary.

We are looking for an experienced team player, someone who can develop this role and ensure our customers feel confident and supported when they report incidents to us.

This role will cover our entire stock profile across Bournville and Telford, however the primary focus will be Telford.

Job Profile

You will be a positive ambassador for BVT and the services that we provide, ensuring you work with both internal and external partners to deliver excellent services to our customers.

You will manage the higher level and more complex ASB cases, ensure both perpetrator and complainants are dealt with professionally and with empathy. You will also work with our Neighbourhood Coordinators, providing advice and guidance on lower-level cases and carrying out periodic reviews where appropriate.

You will be expected to prepare witness statements and other legal documents for court and attend court on behalf of BVT where necessary. You will also take the lead on any other tenancy breaches, such as non-access for gas or electrical compliance.

As a Tenancy Enforcement Coordinator, you will bring the following key skills to the role:

  • Extensive and up to date knowledge of housing legislation and early intervention methods surrounding anti-social behaviour case management.
  • To project a positive image of Bournville Village Trust by providing an excellent level of customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Able to build strong links with our customers and the community stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for both complainants and perpetrators in anti-social behaviour cases.
  • Be able to manage tenancy related breaches on behalf of BVT and our customers. This could include health and safety compliance enforcement and tenancy fraud.
  • Be a team player and understand the importance of openness, honesty and collaborative working.
