Parks

We manage several parks and open spaces in Birmingham and Telford, making sure they’re welcoming, accessible and boost biodiversity.

  • Weoley Parkway (includes three parks situated between Fox Hill, B29 4BG, and Weoley Hill, B29 4BN).
  • Shenley Green Park (Green Meadow Road, B29 4EG).
  • The Y Park (Green Meadow Road, B29 4DS).
  • Shenley Green open space (includes the MUGA and playground), Hawkestone Road, B29 4DY).
  • Open spaces in Spiceland Road (Paxford Way, B29 4HH) and Garland Way (Jervoise Drive, B31 2XU).
  • Woodlands Park and Croppings Park play areas, Lightmoor Village.
  • Holywell Meadow and Myford Meadow, Lightmoor Village.
  • Stocking Park and The Paddocks play areas, Lightmoor Village.
  • Stoney Hill Park, Lightmoor Village.

Birmingham City Council manage the Valley Parkway, Bournville Park and the playground at Woodlands Park. To report an issue directly to the Council, please go to www.birmingham.gov.uk/reportparks

In Lawley, play areas are generally the responsibility of Telford and Wrekin Council. Open spaces remain the responsibility of developers until they’re handed over to us or the Council.

Allotments

Looking for a space to grow your own fruit and veg? We manage the Fox Hill allotment and Burdock Road / Lower Shenley allotment. To apply for a plot, please call us on 0300 333 6540 or email enquiries@bvt.org.uk.
